This isn’t a book about fixing yourself—because you’re not broken.

It’s for anyone who has felt overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that don’t seem to change.

Instead of giving you more to do, it offers a fresh understanding of how your experience is created in the moment.

And from that understanding, real change becomes possible—without effort, struggle, or self-improvement plans.

About Rick

Rick Ruppenthal has spent much of his life in environments where decisions matter and pressure is part of the job. With over 30 years of experience as a paramedic, leader, and educator, he became deeply curious about one question: why do people have such different experiences of the same circumstances?

That question led him to a simpler, more powerful understanding of the human experience—one that now forms the foundation of his coaching and teaching. Rick works with individuals and leaders to help them see that they are not broken, and that clarity, resilience, and well-being are never as far away as they appear.
